I don't
know if it was the best concert I've ever been to, but it was the first one and I
think that makes it special. When I was 12 years old, I went to the One
Direction concert, this was on May 01, 2014 at the national stadium in
Santiago.
One Direction was a boyband composed of five members. The band was formed in 2011, thanks to the show "The X Factor" and from there they shot to stardom. The fact that they gave a concert in Chile was quite a spectacle, they even had to add a second date due to the demand for tickets.
At this
time, I had no money for tickets. So with a friend we competed for tickets, and
it wasn't until the day before the concert that we won two tickets for the
second date. I remember the atmosphere during the event was very nice, during
the whole wait I talked to different people. I was literally in the middle of the
crowd, so I don't remember seeing much, plus I was considerably shorter, but
that didn't stop me from having a good time and singing at the top of my lungs.
I remember
it fondly now, especially because I got to see One Direction live before they split up.
